Figured I'd go ahead and get this thread going for the next DFW Tournament: The Richardson Open.

Details

Where: My home in Richardson - PM for the address please

When: May 9th, 1:00

Entry Fee: $10

Prizes: The winners will get gift certificates to anywhere in the US (Money).

Army Construction:
- Points limit: 460
- Starting spaces: 24 hexes
- Armies must consist of units only from one general.
- Aquillia units are considered to be Ullar units.

The first order of business will be nailing down this date. Podwest has already said that the 25th of April won't work for him, so that leaves us with either the 18th of April or the 2nd of May.

Which one works best for people?

Neither of these dates work for me, so I may have to skip this one. April 11th and 25th do work for me, but those are not options.

Dignan, did you consider requiring at least one unique hero in each army? You know, to represent the General? Just a thought.

And, right now, either of those dates sounds good to me. Excelsior! (that was for DrL) ;)

Hmmm, well, I'd hate to miss an opportunity to beat Rÿchean in another event. April 11th might work out. Does anyone object to that date?

I work weekends, so a game like that in the middle of the day doesn't work for me, and it would take me about 4.5 hrs to get up there. Doubt my friends would go up without me, but I'll let them know about it anyways. None of them own any scape at all, so they'd have to borrow from me or you guys. It'd probably be easier for me to try and make it up for your normal Tuesday game night since I'm off Tuesdays and Wednesdays, don't know whether I would be up for a drive like that though.

April 11th is no good for me. That's the wife's birthday.

Hehe, now we are all over the place on dates. I think that we will have to cut our losses at this point and tell Rÿchean he has to change his plans.

I think April 18th will work the best. Let's tentatively plan on that date. I think that will work for the largest group of people. Let me know if I'm wrong.
