Character Bio - Reep Daggle is from the planet Durla, where everyone has the power to change their physical form. He has orange skin, pointed ears and antennae, and has no hair in his usual humanoid form, although both his name and usual shape were forced on him by Earthgov's immigrations officers. He is the son of Legion financer R. J. Brande, also a Durlan, and a female Durlan named Zhay. Reep did not learn that Brande was his father for many years. Reep and his twin sibling Liggt were raised by their maternal aunt Ji, until he and his brother were forced to battle to the death for the Durlan Right of Survival, which Reep won. Growing into his teens, Reep began to understand that Durlans with their protean abilities generally were not trusted and were otherwise ill treated among humans. Reep decided that he should counter this attitude by providing a positive example of his species as a superhero. To do so, he applied for membership in the Legion, and the organization was pleased to recruit him in sympathy with his social aims. Chameleon Boy was also an exceptional detective; his deductive prowess coupled with his shapeshifting abilities led to his being named the permanent head of the Legion's Espionage Squad.

For a time Chameleon Boy was posing as Control, the commander of Metropolis’ Science Police. There he was able to manipulate the organization, covering fellow Legionnaires, and even hiring Mon-El. His cover was blown when a bomb took out the Science Police headquarters and he was found by the Guardian in rubble beneath the Science Police station, half way between both forms.

Impersonate feels very derivative to me... I feel like we already have a power that does that. Am I thinking of something else?

If so I'm fine with it, just feels like a bit of a retread to me.

The other Chameleon has Impersonate.

So just to be sure, the intention here is that Science Police that become class Legionnaire will also add one to their defense dice if they are adjacent to another Science Police. So aside from boosting other "regular" Legionnaires, it looks like it boosts SP as well.

Yep, I believe that's the correct reading and the intent, Hambone. :-)

Looks good. I think "This Is Control" will be really valuable.

Yep. He'll probably pretty much have to be costed for how he plays with Science Police and just end up feeling overcosted without them. Not seeing any real way around that approach.

Agreed, but for what it's adding to the whole faction I think it's worth it.

This guy is a very interesting way to add commons to Legionnaire armies! I really like that aspect as well as being able to Impersonate with another character. I find that there are many better 100 point options than Chameleon.

Shouldn't he have Flying, btw?

I'm thinking 170-180 starting cost? 180 if he does in fact have Flying.
