I'm not sure why buy our site does this and it started out of the blue about a year ago. The workaround for when it asks you for a code after each entry is to just close the invoice you're working on and start another, Use as many invoices as you need (the record is 21 so far but that was a HUGE D&D collection). We are planning on changing our buy site host soon though so hopefully this won't be an issue (it should match our normal store a bit better and be easier for us to update prices, add new items and such).

PS Best of luck on selling. I have a 14 year old and a 12 year old BOTH already starting to talk "Car"...like that's gonna happen!

You might have already thought of it but also make it so you dont have to add items one at a time.

I'm definately interested, just not sure how much cash I have to spare.

Re: Collection for Sale

Someone asked if I could deliver it to GenCon...

The answer is YES...but that means a checked bag fee for me..but it would probably still be cheaper than shipping.

Ok anyone who was holding out to make offers on specific parts of the lot go ahead and get your offers in.

If you are interested in what you should be offering you may want to use Auggies buy site as a reference point.

:)

Thanks for the update. I sent a PM with an offer on part of the lot.

Onacara August 3rd, 2012 11:10 PM

Re: Collection for Sale

If you sent me an offer and I havent responded..thats actually a good thing..it means I havent laughed it off ;)

Obviously getting the most interest in Aquilla's Alliance and Flagbearers so all offers need to be weighed based on amount and what else the person wants.

I'll be in touch soon enough..keep sending in those offers ;)

Thanks

PM me an offer...we can maybe work it out if its for the whole lot since its only 1 customs form and trip to the post office

Re: Collection for Sale

Before anyone wastes any more time typing....

Offering $200 for a collection this size is ridiculous. If you want it go check Auggies Buy site prices and then check eBay and realize how much this collection would cost you to get on eBay or how much he could get for it from Auggies before making an insulting offer. He doesnt want eBay prices (FYI Aquilla's Alliance would cost you about $200 by itself there) but he isnt giving it away either.

no, that's why I'm asking because I really want to know if your still willing to split it up. I cant afford something this big

Well since the person who I was negotiating the whole lot sale too hasnt replied yet I can listen to realistic offers for parts.

Glottengeich September 10th, 2012 09:37 PM

Re: Collection for Sale

Okay, if you are going to be a dick about it, the screw it. I wasn't trying to be insulting, just uneducated of the properties and value of the entire lot.

You ask for offers, then I give you an offer of $200, and you get insulted and post about it, that is the true definition of ignorance.

I will just make note to myself to educate and research the values of each piece, and after an hour of investigating, each figure, each tile, each mat, seeing which is the cheapest, after taxes, shipping etc, doing all the tallying of each figure (not actually knowing a head count, nor having pictures) I'll try my best to not throw something too "inferior" out there for you, so you don't have to spend time "wasting typing", although you have 16,970 posts talking about figurines.

Thanks, I'll make sure not to come back to this thread again, so don't spend time "wasting" time typing.

Re: Collection for Sale

Considering I never mentioned you by name...you are the one who just outted yourself.

And yours was not the only offer I got. :)

And I didnt call you a name either ;)

Would it be easier if I just priced it and let people just send lists of what they want?

This would be the best way to do it, since you're looking to get a certain price range for the lot.

List updated.

Please note that....

A) If you are paying by PayPal I am paying a fee on it so me covering shipping costs is not going to be possible...especially if you are already asking for a discounted price from those prices listed...sorry

B) If you send me a list and I confirm what is on it as still being available then you should pay within 24 hours or else the claimed items go back on the open market unless previously agreed upon.

Could someone please reassure me by giving this guy, Onacara, a good character reference? I don't want to make any accusations, but I have to admit I'm starting to feel a bit uneasy. His last moment on this site was literally minutes after accepting my PayPal. He's not answering my PMs (I'm hoping simply because he's hasn't been on the site.)

I had assumed based on his post count that he was in good-standing with the community.

Again, I'm not making any accusations... just beginning to feel a bit uneasy.

Sure!
Onacara is a good guy who I've met multiple times in person. His last activity is September 20th, so it's been a while. And were you reading the Pickle thread? I doubt that will happen here.
