I am working on it.
I am having trouble finding just the right minis for my ideas.

I am looking basically for an average looking civilian fig preferably not in a suit and no gun.

As soon as I find something I will post my idea. I can almost promise it will present a great challenge to the creative minds in these here parts :)

No worries. Thanks for the update. I look forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve.

This guy is perfect! Thanks, mac. I gotta spread the love or else you would be hearing rep cannon fire right now. :)

So, with that solved, I will make a proposal to you guys.

I want to propose a character that most of you probably aren't familiar with, which is usually something i would try to avoid. The only reason want to propose him is because of the challenge he will present and the fun that he could potentially be. However, I also have a Plan B if you guys would rather have someone more likely to be familiar to a larger percentage of us.

My Plan A...
Thomas Hunter/Thomas of Hunter from the circle Series by Ted Dekker.

The books center around Thomas Hunter, who, because of an accident, lives in two different realities. When he falls asleep in one, he wakes up in the other. In one reality (our present world) he is just an average guy (who happens to be the only person who can save the world from a biologically engineered virus/weapon), in the other reality he becomes the leader of a post-apocalyptic, technology challenged remnant of mankind on earth 1,000s of years in the future.

When he is asleep in this reality, time in the future reality passes at a different rate. He may be asleep for eight hours here and 5 years or more may have passed in the future reality.

One thing that will be fun is that he can transfer knowledge and skills between his alternate selves. So, in this reality with its advanced knowledge he can have an upper hand on the enemies of mankind in the future reality (i.e. his army is in trouble so he goes to sleep there, wakes up here, finds out the ingredients for blackpowder, goes to sleep here, wakes up there, makes black powder and saves his people). Also, the skills he learns as a warrior in the future are brought back to this reality. But since time passes differently in the future reality, he goes to sleep one night here and wakes up with the skills of a warrior who has perfected his fighting arts over decades of war.

Also, if he is injured in one reality, he has the potential to heal if he can go to sleep and wake up in the other reality.

Here is a brief wiki on the books he is from. Click on the individual links for each book for more info on Thomas.

This unit would require the use of two different minis (as I envision it right now)

One is the mini mac found for Thomas Hunter and the other is...
Ian Nottingham (Heroclix Indy) for Thomas of Hunter

Anyhow, before I make any proposals as far as what I would like to see specifically in the unit, I want to know if you guys would be up to this challenge or if you would prefer a more familiar and simpler character. I am fine with either.

Thoughts?
