NS's Mods: Undead Roman! 2/8/15
 
Hello Everyone :)

I have gotten so into repainting minis that I figured I would start doing Mods. I will most likely post new ones while I am waiting on my new repainting minis to come in from Ebay. Until my next one, enjoy my first one!

I used one of my repainted Airborne Elite's and my spare Raelin's wings. Then painted them to match the theme of the AE and boom, a new kyrie is born. Hope you liked it.

Edit: Entertaining Back Story...

Vydar felt a pain in his head. As he could see that his empire was drifting to pieces he knew that Utgar was healed responsible. "Sir" said a distraught agent. "I think we need to-" then the sound of an arrow piercing through flesh and bone echoed the room. As the agent fell to the ground, dead; Utgar himself stood in the doorway.

"Well well well" said Utgar. Vydar quickly reached for his spear but got thrown to the wall. "You and I both know that I was always stronger than you brother" Utgar snarled with a grin. Vydar stood up against the wall and began to speak: "Umney sum brosos un carnistios de selenta-" then he was paused by the distracted demon "What is he saying?" Said Utgar, Vydar displayed a small smirk on his face and began to speak again. "Tunee ambricos manelca de leama. Forr moli ur sameq de Meana!" The room began to shake with a rather bright light illuminating the area as well "Run you fools!" Yelled Utgar "Run!" After the high pitched noise had settled and the light dimmed down a figure stood in the room. "Who are you?" Said Vydar, scrambling to his feet. The figure began to open his mouth, "My name is Samandriel, it has come to my attention that you seek help. Shall we... begin?"

I feel this guy is powerful due to his backstory... Do you have ideas for his powers ?

Great mod though ! Love the red-and-silver wings. +rep :)

UNDEAD RELIC:
After attacking an Undead figure while using a ranged attack with Samandriel you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 1-9 the chosen undead figure receives the normal amount of wounds given. If you roll a 10-17 the chosen undead figure receives two additional wounds. If you roll an 18-20 the chosen undead figure is immediately destroyed. Samandriel may only use Undead Relic once per round.

HUNTERS TRUCE:
All friendly Hunters within four clear sight spaces of Samandriel add one to their attack and defense.

FLYING:
When counting spaces for Samandriel's movement, ignore elevations. Samandriel may fly over water without stopping, pass over figures without becoming engaged, and fly over obstacles such as ruins. When Samandriel starts to fly, if she is engaged she will take any leaving engagement attacks.



I would like thoughts on this custom. It's my first in a while and feedback would be much obliged. Thanks :)

I used two more heads, glued them on and made sort of a "boney" structure on the wings and the tail with alternating scales. Again, enjoy.

Maybe a SotL should say:

"All figures adjacent to the Rechet Lord subtract one from their attack"

That would weaken attackers and strengthen the Rechets.

Basically all I did was add some horns from a D&D figure onto one of my repainted Sand Vipers.
