My army: Taelord, 4x Deathreavers, Zetacron, Marro Warriors, Guilty
This was a 480 point tournament, with 24 hex start zones. It is good to note that the Deathreavers were only sometimes used as a screen; offense was what they were mainly used for. Also, the points were counted by point differential, and I never completely destroyed my opponent's army.
Opponent: Sam
Opponent's army: 2x Blade Gruts, Grimnak, AE, Sgt. Drake (SotM)
Glyph: Lodin
Sides: I was on the side to the left on the picture above.
Battle:
This match up didn't look too hard. The Blades have low defense, perfect for reavers, and Drake seemed easy. The AE didn't drop first round. I started out by moving out the deathreavers, getting the glyph, starting to reach the high ground, and just getting into position. When the AE dropped on the second round, one went to the rock 3 while the others stuck to the sand. With initiative, I engaged them and destroyed any hopes of domination. Soon, Taelord was brought up, and gruts and Deathreavers battled. Soon, the Deathreaves won, and Grimnak was hit upon. After several unsuccessful attempts to destroy him, Zetacron, with height and Taelord, finished Grimnak off. Around that time, the time limit was reached, so we just finished the round. I tried to destroy more AE. When we finished, 3 squads of Deathreavers of mine were destroyed. I'm not sure what he had left, but the point differential was 63 points.
Opponent: Bengi
Opponent's army: 3x MRT, BA, Sonlen, Izumi
Glyphs: My side = Wound, his side =move+2
Sides: Symmetrical
Battle:
I started simply - first on Zetacron, trying to devastate a hero. I choose Sonlen, and gave him 5 wounds. Then, while my Deathreavers moved up the hill and took the wound glyph, Sonlen destroyed Taelord with 2 shots. Soon, Sonlen was on the top lava field, the MRT were starting up the hill, and deathreavers were flowing onto the mountain. The battle raged on, though Sonlen didn't do much at all. BA never went, due to my attacks on him, the wound glyph, and the fact that reavers scattered out of engagements with the MRT. I lost many Deathreavers, he lost several Mohicans, and at one point Sonlen was destroyed because of the lava field. Some more attacking happened, and the Samurai got one turn to move up, but deathreavers just went around them. Soon, the time limit was reached. The last attack was Zetacron destroying an MRT. At the end, he had only 4 mohicans and his Izumi. I had 57 more points, winning the game for me.
Opponent: Kevin
Opponent's army: Sgt. Drake (SotM), Q9, Kaemon, Isamu
Glyphs: Permanent (Attack and Move)
Sides: I was on the side to the left and down in the picture above.
Rules: Heavy snow and normal ice
Battle:
I was worried about this one. Kaemon could counterstrike Deathreavers, and Q9 can block all their attacks and destroy them easily, without activating scatter. To start, I sent out Deathreavers, and tried to capure both glyphs. His Kaemon climbed up the snow a bit, but Q9 crossed the water to the sand and destroyed my Deathreavers that had been trying to grab the glyph there. To aid my reavers, I sent out Zetacron, and with Taelord, he killed Kaemon in one shot and gave Q9 1 wound before Q9 normal attacked him out of existence. Then, his Drake started Grappling his way across the snow. Deathreavers tried to stop him, but they couldn't reach him until he was 2 spaces away from the reaver on the attack glyph. After several attacks, Drake got onto the attack glyph. However, I got Taelord close by, and pounded Drake with 3 attacks of 3 by my Deathreavers for some turns. Soon, he was destroyed, and the Deathreavers took control of the attack glyph. Now, Q9 was still nice and alive back on the sand. As he advanced Isamu toward the water, Taelord flew to some second level rocks to aid the Marro Warriors. Then the MW shot at Q9, who was concentrating on destroying Taelord. 2 wounds were inflicted on Q9, and Taelord was destroyed. Finally, with only this round and 1 more left, I realized that with the remaining Deathreavers and Guilty, I would win. So, I used the MW as a distraction - they ran toward his start zone, and attemped to clone. Then they ran to the snow, where Q9 finished them off. However, 6 deathreavers and Guilty had survived, so I won by 35 points.

Round 4
Spoiler Alert!
Map: Molten Mound by SuperEsenwein (My own map!)
Note: The picture below is slightly inaccurate. I played on the SotM version.
Opponent: Tablewalker
Opponent's army: 3x KoW, Finn, Tarn, Zetacron, Raelin
Glyphs: On the picture above, the top-left glyph was Move+2 and the other one was initiative.
Battle:
Although I didn't think this battle would be too hard, it turn out to be my closest battle. He sent out Finn with some knights first. I grabbed the move glyph with Deathreavers, but not the initiative due to lava field. We battled, with rats scattering up and knights walking to the action. Zetacron took a turn to gain a level and destroy a rat; soon another rat prevented a shot at someone else. The rats and knights battled on, centering around the move glyph. Finn was on the lava next to the glyph. Then, both Taelord and Raelin moved to assist in the battle. However, I now realize that Taelord was badly placed; his aura rarely reached the attacking reavers. The deathreavers adjusted by attacking Raelin, and eventually Zetacron finished her off. The battle raged on more. My Zetacron destroyed his Zetacron and was destroyed by the lava field. Eventually, Deathreavers lost the move glyph and were too scarce to attack well. Time was called. Taelord, being vulnerable, retreated in the hopes of not getting as many wounds. On the knight's turn, he lost 2. However, the Marro Warriors had a lucky streak - In one turn (or maybe 2), with Taelord, they destroyed 3 or 4 knights (or maybe more). When the results were counted, I ended up 15 points ahead - one more wound on Taelord or one less knight that the Marro Warriors killed would have lost me the game.

Round 5
Spoiler Alert!
Map:Can't remember (but I remember it had little height and lots of LOS blockers)
Opponent: Ollie
Opponents army: Mimring, Sgt. Drake (original), krav, 3x Deathreavers (I think)
Glyphs: Not sure, but I think there was a defense+1 glyph
Battle:
Because I left this report for around 6 months after the tournament, I really can't remember it very well. Taelord went out to a spot near the glyph to aid in my attacks. The glyph was the center of attention for most of it. Mimring died relatively quickly from my reavers. After a long battle that reached the time limit (I don't remember what happened to the Krev or Drake), I had more points than him with Taelord. I don't think Taelord ever got any wounds.

There were 16 Deathreavers on the field every game - what did you expect? ;)

Re: Pestered in Westford 1st Place Report
Congrats on your victory.
It's not very clear if you won any games by killing all your opponents figures, or by counting point differentials.
How many games out of 5 did you time out on?

Re: Pestered in Westford 1st Place Report
Yes. I never destroyed all of my opponent's figures. With the short time limit, and, as KC pointed out, 16 Deathreavers, there were always figures on the field when the game ended. If the time had been longer, I actually probably wouldn't have done as well. Taelord was close to getting some wounds as it was; more time wound have left him destroyed, which would kill my total points. One main advantage I had was that Taelord couldn't be easily shot at due to the Deathreavers, but it was still hard to keep him alive.

Crazy! I hate deathreavers, but it's pretty awesome that you beefed them up and attacked with them. :)
