There is some argument over Hysteria, D.O.A., Received your Letter, and Still Alive.
Some folks think Hysteria may be Def Lepard instead of Muse, or that D.O.A. may be Van Halen. Given Harmonix's history with certain bands and the licensing issues, Foo Fighters is far more likely for D.O.A. and Muse for Hysteria. Van Halen and Def have not allowed any of their music in these sorts of games thus far, while Foo Fighters has a history of many song releases between the Rockband and Guitar Hero games. Muse is not yet a player in this area, but given that they are not as big of an act, it would not be unreasonable for them to benefit from the exposure. Received your Letter is VERY obscure, but that foreign song is the only reasonable rock track on the interwebs with four parts to play. Still Alive MIGHT refer to a Johnny Winter track "Sill Alive and Well" but none of the other songs had their names changed on the list, plus Harmonix has said they were planning a video-game song similar to GH3's Halo 3 release, plus both games were invovled with EA and are available on the 360 and PS3. When assembling the list I therefore put the songs where it seemed they would most likely go. Also, the bonus track from Nirvana's "Nevermind" album "Endless, Nameless" is mentioned by some fans....as that track is not really workable Rockband material, nor is it on every copy of the album nor listed in the track listing, I did not include it. I also did not include the bonus rerelease tracks on "Who's Next" as they were not present on the original release of the LP and are generally not considered part of the classic album. |
Man, I'd love some Bad Company, but Shooting Star is kinda lame. I'd rather have Bad Company or Rocksteady or something. Anyway, fun to think all these songs could be added in time!

Man, even though I don't own the game, I really wish they had more Chili Peppers. Other than that it all looks pretty cool like Fuel, Wrathchild, and Pinball Wizard.
I was still kind of wondering, when will the first sequel come out? They seem do being doing great with this first installment with DLC, but they're going to need more t keep the game going. |
EDIT: ignore me.

This would have gone great in the existing Rock Band thread...
