Re: July in MI

My collection of squads is limited, so I went HEROScape.

By the way, just to be clear on the rules... is a Win or Loss based entirely on kill points?

If time runs out, we would defer to official scoring rules (full card scoring)

So if for some strange reason I bring a 400pt army and my opponent brings a 200pt army, and he kills 350pts but I clear his army before time runs out, I win. But if time runs out and the opponent kills 350pts and I only kill 190pts, he wins. Correct?

Re: July in MI

Would the tournament start at 12 like last time? I return from vacation on the 24th so there's a slim chance I could make it both days.

Thanks for organizing this Damja.

If I can make it, I'd like to do General Wars. GW means you can't use Q9, Rats, and Raelin together which in my book is good thing. Another positive is that it,s just a little higher point total than last time. There were a lot of armies I had wanted to play, but were just a couple points too high.

Edit: Monster Mash sounds fun too.

That being the question, the winner is the person with most points left on the field of play.

General Wars...Monster Mash

Re: July in MI

Any of these could be fun, but I want to pick a style that would ensure the widest variety of armies, and the least number of rats :). I like dragons, but with only a few to choose from, there would be a lot of repetition in the armies (and a lot of Greenskins). General Wars or Big Monsters would have the same problem, although definitely not as severe. Lightweight would be interesting, but it would still allow too many rats.

So in the end, I voted for HERO-scape. I think that will lead to the most diversity in army builds, and it will be a VERY different challenge than I'm used to.

And did I mention, HERO-Scape means NO RATS!

XC_Runner will not be around for either of these dates. Drew & I can make the 31st.

We voted General Wars, but will happily go with the flow.

Too bad about "XC_Runner." Hopefully she can make the next one.

However, I'm glad the 31st works out for you, because that also works for me.
