Character Bio - The Skrull Empire has been sending its infiltrators to this planet for decades; infiltrating every level of our society by using their shape shifting powers to pose themselves as humans. Since the revelation of their presence, Earth's true natives have been asking themselves "who can I trust?". You never know if your mailman, teacher, President, or even your own mother has been replaced by one of these agents of deceitfulness. They could be anyone at anytime.

  • Q - If my Magneto throws your Flash to his HOT LAVA DEATH, and you choose to place a Skrull Infiltrator on that lava space, you immediately roll for lava damage for the Skrull, right?
    A - No actually. You only roll for Lava Death when your figure moves onto a molten lava space. The official FAQ is that placement powers act the same way as movement powers in terms of how they relate to lava damage. But this is a replacement power - no FAQ there.
  • Q: Do Skrull Infiltrators count toward startzone figure limits?
  • A: Yes. All figures in your army count toward your figure limit, even if they do not begin the game in the startzone or on the battlefield.

Skrull Infiltrators do not start the game on the battlefield. Skrull Infiltrators can only enter the battlefield when a small or medium figure that is not a Skrull is destroyed. You may replace that figure immediately, if possible, with one of your own Skrull Infiltrators that has not yet been placed on the battlefield.

Thanks.

It is important to note that it could potentially overlap with other resurrection power like Zombies of Morindan or similar powers like Billy Batson's SHAZAM. However, when two or more powers occur at the same time, per the game rules, we are to simply roll the 20-sided die to see which one comes first.

I like it. Thematically, your figures should have a chance of being Skrulls as well, but that's less interesting for gameplay, so I prefer it as is. :-)

I hear ya, and I am glad you are happy. For me, I really like the current theme of "my" army infiltrating "yours".

Wouldn't be cool if a third player was playing Skrull only whilst the other 2 were playing a normal good versus evil match & the skrull couldn't play until one of their infiltrators was on the battlefield.

I hear ya, but the official "zombie" way of fixing this is to say "if possible". That seems to be best since it is from the official card, and I think we have used that term somewhere else as well.
