What about: HYDROKINESIS SPECIAL ATTACK (B) Range 2+Special. Attack 2+Special. When Percy Jackson is within 3 spaces of a water space, add 2 to the Range and Attack of Hydrokinesis Special Attack. When a small or medium figure rolls defense dice and is not destroyed, you may immediately place the figure on any empty space within 3 spaces of the figure's original placement. A figure moved by Hydrokinesis Special Attack cannot be moved up more than 3 levels, never takes any leaving engagement attacks, and must be placed within clear sight of Percy Jackson. Any figure moved lower by Hydrokinesis Special Attack can receive any falling damage that may apply. or simply: HYDROKINESIS SPECIAL ATTACK (C) Range 2+Special. Attack 2+Special. When Percy Jackson is within 3 spaces of a water space, add 2 to the Range and Attack of Hydrokinesis Special Attack. When a small or medium figure rolls defense dice and is not destroyed, you may immediately move the figure 3 spaces. A figure moved by Hydrokinesis Special Attack never takes any leaving engagement attacks. Any figure moved lower by Hydrokinesis Special Attack can receive any falling damage that may apply. |

Re: Heroes of Fiction: Design Thread
If we are settled on a version of Hydrokinesis that we can agree on, Lets take a vote on which version we like better. So we can wrap Mr. Jackson up.
Version C. no limit to how high a figure can be moved. Version B. A figure can not be moved more than 3 spaces up. I'm referring to Confred's post. I personally like the limit on how high he can be thrown with water. That way Percy can not water throw someone to the top of a castle, or skyscraper. If you threw a figure that can not fly or leap up on to a 40 high plus canary perch, he would have to take crazy fall damage just to get down. That is why I like the limit on throwing characters up and letting them be washed to lower spaces easily. So thats +1 for me on version B. |
B-Side
B for me as well.

I'll vote B

Version C doesn't work the way you think it does. A and B are placement effects where you remove the figure from the 'field and then place it back Version C moves the figure like you normally move figures, so it would be affected by height, moreso even and oddly enough affected by water also However, with that said I like version B also so I'm fine with keeping vote way it is :P |
Re: Heroes of Fiction: Design Thread
with 5 of us voting B, is that enough to press on, where do you guys stand @Taeblewalker @Machineking . If you guys are on board, we could discuss any other details we need, to finish this one up. I'm very anxious for what's next.

Version B is fine with me.

Edit: Phone didn't display card. I see it now on iPad. I may have goofed with that wording. It reads move up/lower. It should either be up/down or higher/lower and since we know lower is correct, it must be higher, which I didn't represent. Sgt. Drake uses "up" so up/lower is good enough for me  |
Re: Heroes of Fiction: Design Thread
I am personally happy where Percy is at now so unless anyone else has any changes they want made, I think it is time for
