Looking for snow maps

Hi all, Tis the season especially here in Wisconsin. Time to break out the snow and ice Heroscape expansion. I've been looking for maps with a good amount of snow and ice, but not finding too much. Hopeful you guys can point me in the right direction with some preferred maps.

Thanks much!

There are more snow maps in that thread as well. They aren't just for Star Wars ;)

Here's a link to the archive if you'd like.

There are definitely lots of options - but probably important to consider what terrain you have before making suggestions. Are you looking for just maps that use only the Rise of the Valkyrie master set with snow? Or do you have other terrain expansions to work with?

Re: Looking for snow maps

So, a lot of the threads in this subforum feature maps that use the snow expansion (abbreviated as TT for Thaelenk Tundra in terrain requirement descriptions - sorry if you already know some of this). Depending on what exactly you're looking for, I'd just peruse people's map threads. There are officially sanctioned tournament maps for use in competitive play like the BoV and the ARV. Here are a few of those tournament maps...

Here are a couple great threads to search for maps (though I am a little biased towards one of them in particular ;) ). Typically you'll find most maps in the original post of each thread:

https://www.heroscapers.com/communit...ad.php?t=21033

So I'd just click away on people's map threads and search through the original posts for maps using snow.

If you wanted tournament maps click the google drive link in my signature and there are maps there sorted by use, you'll see the tundra sets all together.

Shameless plug here for two of mine.

Both strive to milk as much as you can out of a TT and a single master set, so they have low terrain requirements. (Although seeing what you own -- nice! -- I suspect that's no issue. :D )

Song of the Walrus was used at GenCon one year (2014).
