Hello all,

I got a phone call and was told I'd better get on heroscapers and talk about NHSD, Obfuscatedhippo I do have a missions tournament tentively in place that Ive worked on or with or discussed quozl, master of disaster and Longy418. I'm open though would you like to run it?

What are the best dates for people this year? October 18th or 25th?

I'll be checking back on this thread and hopefully we get something rolling very soon.

If you folks have something in mind, that would be great. I would jump in if folks were too busy or no one was planning yet.

I am not sure which date works best for me yet.

I have some Prize Support standing by ...

After consideration I believe you taking the reigns on this NHSD sounds great, the missions tournament still needs a little fine tuning and maybe a date in December or January will be better suited.

I have prize support to bring and I'm ready to help if needed(bring maps, figures etc.) and for now either one of those dates are good for me.

Okay, I will work on the NHSD Format and getting a Poll posted for the date that works out best for folks. I will then work with Guardian Games to confirm the location. I'll need help with Maps for sure .. so I'll look for volunteers to pitch in there.

I'll provide a link to the new Post here once I have it ready to go.

Peace,
*Kai

I guess it's a good thing we're holding off on the missions tournament then, you were my original inspiration for that one!

@Kai, I'll volunteer first for bringing maps and I can cover any costs affiliated with Guardian games .

There is a gaming convention coming up in Vancouver, WA in March. Is anyone going to this? Maybe we could sneak in some Heroscape at the event.

I have been trading some PM's with Ninja Status, White Q Knight, William099, i_r_beej, and some other Portland-area folks about a casual 'Scape gathering in July.

I wanted to gauge interest and look at possible dates but the initial thought was July 11th or 12th. I'd work with Guardian Games to see if they would host our group again.

Since this is a casual game day -- we could run Classic, C3V, or even try out our own customs (since a few of us dabble in that arena). We could even add in some C3G (though I don't have the figures).

Sound like a good idea?
