Nice work.

Re: The Book of Beyonder
FYI - In case it isn't known, this is another situation (like Kool Aid Man) where there is a figure now available that wasn't available previously, The Beyonder (Beyonder #057 Guardians of the Galaxy Booster Set Marvel Heroclix) has an an actual Heroclix figure now.

Re: The Book of Beyonder
Good to know! This one is a pretty simple repaint (I must've tricked someone into doing it for me, because I have one) but if we can get photos of the other one, I'm sure we can at least get alt cards here.
I somehow don't imagine we'll be doing a version 2 here .... |
Re: The Book of Beyonder
Yep, not against an Alt here but I only feel the swap is really needed for mods, not simple repaints. I think I even painted the one for the card here so it can't be too hard.

Re: The Book of Beyonder
I have that one, in case we ever decide we need it.

Re: The Book of Beyonder
I had previously thought that "a point is a point." So in my mind, 2500pt Beyonder should be able to go up against two 1250pt teams.
I overlooked turn advantage, so I'm wondering, what do you all think is the most fair point ratio in a Beyonder vs 2 team scenario? |
Re: The Book of Beyonder
I'd consider trying either two 1,000 point armies against him, or giving him like +3 to D20 rolls and trying the 1,250 point armies.

Re: The Book of Beyonder
In my experience with 2v1 games, 3/4 to 2/3 of the solo army split up between the other two.
So in this case about 850-950 per team so your 1000 point army may be close. |
