That sounds like a medium figure to me.

He would be closer to 1.85 inches, so between 1.5 and 1.85 inches.

maybe not so easy.
don't want a punching pose.

these are under $9 or 8 figures all seemingly to scale. however, they show two different marios and by maths the set can't have both. One is terribad.

I found these, the description says 1.2-2.8 , that would probably place the mario taller than we want.

This one looks alright to me, going by the description and guesstimations, I would say he looks about 1.6"ish.

This one is a keychain, but it wouldn't be too hard to take the chain off.

Also there are 3 of them in this set for us to choose from: https://www.amazon.com/Generic-Broth...et_feature_div

Honestly I think any of them would work. With the lots you do get the extra figures which could be useful in future designs, but I'll probably vote for the keychain Mario. Mainly because it seems to be the most accurate size and it's the cheapest of the 3. But I really don't have any strong feelings about any of them so any will do for me.

This is the only one I found on ebay. I'd also vote for the keychain figure. Btw who's turn is it next?

Let's pull this in.
The only thing holding this design back is the figure and hit-zone.
The consensus is that basically any figure will do, with a preference to one that's jumping and not punching. (or wearing an alt. costume).
Let's vote on the card to move on
(JC will do hitzone)

 I picked somebody out so I'm ready. I'll work on a draft card so we can keep moving.
