I like the DW9000 and Samuri's/Raelin and the Romans. Both really seemed to impress upon the special abilities if the hero involved. Raelin's aura and Marcus' leadership/inspiration.

W/o knowing all the intricacies and special abilities in HS, someone seeing your work could recognize what was going on just by the way that you presented it.

Again, very nice :)

Wow. Thanks for the comments, Hahma!
As you can tell from the pictures, I've allied characters that are not necessarily aligned with each other in the Valhalla universe: Samurai w/Raelin, Romans against Utgar's forces, etc. (I still don't know what to make of Vydar's allegiances!). But that's okay. I'm approaching it from a fun gameplay perspective.

The DW9K was split into a spread over two pages in Codex 3. Not sure if you saw it there. I don't like the way it looked. I'm not one to complain - especially to Atmospro and all the work he puts forth - but I'm glad I can share the composition here in its intirety. I need to put a bigger scan up. Same with my all-time favorite - Marcus & Co. vs. Wolves.

If you're a fan of top notch comics and ever want to talk shop, I'm all ears.

You're entirely welcome HEH :)

Sadly, I haven't read a comic of any kind in ages. I collected them for a while when I was in the Marines in the 80's and still have a box full of old X-Men, Wolverine, Ghost Knight, The Avengers etc. I'm sure comics have changed since then.

I have dabbled in writing fantasy for off and on and off off off for the past 15 years. So for me, strong character development is important in writing. With your drawings, I just got a feeling (especially with Marcus) of the characters in your work. I thought it was really cool.

I'd be the wrong person to talk to about top notch comics, as like I said I haven't picked one up in ages. As it is, I'm just trying to find time to read The Clash Of Kings by George R.R. Martin. l have too many interests and not enough time. I suppose I could cut my 6 hours of sleep a night down to 4 hours.

Take care and keep up the good work.

HEH, that's awesome. That flashback shot is pretty impressive. You must be precog- perco- you must see the future!

Krug has pried (sp?) open the castle door with Skelblade
only to find some badaz Ashra Warriors waiting for him. He
takes a booted foot to the side of the head and will soon
be kissing an axe and long sword combination!

I wish the actual Ashra figures looked as cool as your interpretations.

That figure with the pole axe is so blah, but she actually looks badass in that drawing!

ha! Thanks Annerios! This should drawing should be in the next Codex. I only wish I could color like Runehardt and CA. I really need to learn how. I was thinking of taking a class next summer if I can find one for cheap and manageable times.

I'm sure I can find the information online, but I just don't think I can figure out all the photoshop steps by just reading directions. :?

I agree with Annerios, these look much better. The expression on pole axe chic is great. She's about to cleave her some Krug!

Looks great, bluekitsune13!! Do you colour it on a PC or by hand?
