The figures used for this unit are Pathfinder figures from the Skulls and Shackles set. The minis are 13/Pirate Sailor, 14/Pirate Smuggler, 24/Tessa Fairwind, and 17/Barnabus Harrigan.

Character Bio: Vydar has summoned pirates from Earth to join the fray. This roguish crew terrorized the open waters of the Caribbean, and now they have brought their services to Valhalla. These buccaneers are hard to tie down, and will use any means necessary to catch their targets off-guard.

If I'm not mistaken, they've also got synergy with Elaria the Pale for her D20 enhancement on Elusive 15.

Thank you. I felt like I was missing something.

This seems like a fun squad. Any battle reports with them? Looks like you'll need the usual three squads to make them viable which is a sizable investment. I'm hesitant to pull the trigger because their low defense would seem to make them weak against most other squads at the same price.

They do have great movement, however, which is always an underrated ability.

Thoughts?

Edit: went ahead and ordered them. There is a great deal to be had on ebay at the moment with seller KingsOfFlight selling these in packs of 3. Must be a Heroscaper. I was able to pick up 3 squads of these for under $60 shipped. Get it while it's hot!

Not necessarily a heroscaper, there is some "scalpers" on ebay who have seen the money that can be made and buy up certain minis.

That makes sense. They were averaging around 4-5 dollars a figured so this saved me some money since I could combine shipping. All the other shops are sold out or only have a few available.

When in doubt if youll like a unit. Proxy them first to see if you like em. Then buy them if you like them.

Buccaneers of Tortuga are never attacked when leaving an engagement.

(Also, the first two ability names are in title case while the third one is all in capitals. Either way seems common in the Books, but not mixed on the same unit.)

Fixed. When I made the book I typed out the new abilities, and copied Disengage from somewhere else. So that's why the typos were there, and why Disengage was all caps while the others weren't.
