Re: Heroes of Fiction: Design Thread
Scape figures are closer to 1.5 inches I think. 4 inches would be like Huge 16
Phineas and Pherb are on Netflix so I'm watching that Each 30 minutes episodes are actually two 15 minute episodes. The quick short story aspect could be displayed in our custom Before talking mechanics Brainstorm Make long lists of anything that comes to mind about the character From what I've seen, he makes potentially tragic 20-sided die rolls that can be disrupted by heroes, further disrupted by agent heros. If the roll fails, it actually helps the opponent Edit: Peripheral cards are not needed for this guy. He's not like a toy maker or a "find the bomb" kind of guy Yes he uses devices and those devices are disabled, but the devices aren't hunted down they are more figurative |

How about this for a possible mini?
http://herominis.com/media/catalog/p...c/w/cw014f.jpg It's Hank Pym from the Chaos War heroclix set. It seems to be one of the only affordable scientist looking minis out there, and I think with a repaint it could look pretty good. Of course you would lose the cartoony aspect of the character. |

So should I paint the percy figure or leave him in a lab coat?:p

Re: Heroes of Fiction: Design Thread
I have my idea for this figure after a morning of watching and some gym time reflection
Utgar summons the Doctor to enact some chaos Power does something big and bad, d20 roll If opponent Hero is adjacent subtract from roll Perhaps give opponent chance to get adjacent, like how he lets Agent P escape all the time If success badness happens, perhaps with collateral damage If fail, goodness happens to opponent and Doof moves away for free (reduces his vulnerability and it always happens in the show, like he gets launched over the tree line) |

Re: Heroes of Fiction: Design Thread
I'm thinking a fairly cheap figure that has a one shot big power that has a sizable but limited range.
TRI-AREA DOOMINATOR Choose a space. All figures within 3 spaces of the chosen space are affected. Dr. Doof must be one of the affected figures. EXPECTED ENGAGEMENT 7 If an opponent's figure ends it's move adjacent to DrDoof, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a7 or higher, the ends |
Re: Heroes of Fiction: Design Thread
quick mock up of what I was thinking.
http://www.heroscapers.com/community...f_original.jpg Edit: I keep thinking of adjustments here and there on this draft, but I've deleted the comments and will let this version have time to create thoughts. |
Re: Heroes of Fiction: Design Thread
I was talking to a guy at work about this character, he is a big fan and gave me this idea that I like.
Basically the Dr. puts a self destruct button on friendly robot heroes with a 20 sided die roll. Small chance low number blows them up. Then if they are in clear sight of him, he explodes them like DW7000. He might start with a couple of markers on his card. That way he can turn his robot army into walking timebombs. (I know he's supposed to be evil, but all of Utgars minions look like they would eat this guy up.):) |
Thoughts
TREX's latest is very similar to what direction I was considering going. A little bit of shoring up from an idea that involved making a bunch of Inators, adding in a few of the ideas peppered in here, and I have something like this.
