http://idigitalcitizen.files.wordpre...ushu.jpg?w=448 ??? Oh, Wushu...nevermind. I understand the whole Ray Gun thing, but what is he fighting with now? Is he strictly a brawler or karate champ? Are we assuming he found a sword? Lama, does he use any weapons as Thomas Hunter? Edit Quote:

He does use guns that he came across or that he was equipped with and I think he even used a knife. These were usually taken from someone he defeated or he geared up before heading out. We can add the d20 back in, but if you are actually using your numbered OMs that much, you are pretty likely to get stomped since you will be forfeiting any chance to get other units positioned or attack your opponent. Basically you are giving your opponent unanswered turns, which can lose you the game. However, I am the one who introduced the d20 roll in conjunction with the OM (I think) so I am open to that as well. |
Re: Heroes of Fiction: Design Thread
On the most current version posted by Balantai, it looks like he copy pasted the previous version with a few edits.
He still had "Treasure/Ability Glyph" written for Underestimated. Intentional or not, I like it. UNDERESTIMATED If there is one or more Treasure Glyphs or Ability Glyphs on this card, opponent's figures roll 1 less attack die when attacking Thomas Hunter with a normal attack. Imagine some dude holding a weapon he has no idea how to use. Boy would you have Underestimated him when he uses it perfectly. Edit: I giggled on the inside when I read Balantai's "Wheneven" for the second time. Quote:

Latest and greatest...thoughts?
Thomas Hunter Aquilla Human Unique Hero Protector Resolute Life 5 Move 5 Range 1 Attack 3 Defense 2 THOMAS OF HUNTER Start the game with 5 Ability Glyphs face down next to this card. Wheneven Thomas Hunter successfully uses his Time Out Special Power, choose a Ability Glyph and place it power-side up on this Army Card, up to a maximum of 3 Ability Glyphs. For the rest of the game, Thomas Hunter may use any Ability Glyph on this card as if it a Special Power on his card. Add 1 die to Thomas Hunter's attack and defense for each Ability Glyph on this card. UNDERESTIMATED If there is at least one Treasure Glyph or Ability Glyph on this card, opponent's figures roll 1 less attack die when attacking Thomas Hunter with a normal attack. TIME OUT If Thomas Hunter receives enough wounds to be destroyed, you may remove an unrevealed order marker from this card and roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 6 or higher, ignore any wounds just received. |

So what do you think, Lama? Should we move on to making the 5 Ability Glyphs?
|
Re: Heroes of Fiction: Design Thread
How about along with the 5 Ability glyphs, we do a few Treasure Glyphs that could be used in scenarios? LC mentioned guns and knives. Maybe a pistol, rifle, and knife?
