NAME = SHADOW WRAITH
SPECIES = SHADOW
UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO
CLASS = CONSTRUCT
PERSONALITY = MINDLESS

SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5

LIFE = 1

MOVE = 5
RANGE = 1
ATTACK = 3
DEFENSE = 0

SUMMONED SHADOW

The Shadow Wraith does not start the game on the battlefield. At the end of any player turn, if you control the Shadow Wraith you must place him on this card.

LIVING SHADOW
The Shadow Wraith can move through all figures, is never attacked when leaving an engagement, cannot equip glyphs, and ignores all wounds he would receive.

-How to Mod and Repaint Shadow Wraith-

You take your Foot Ninja, and paint everything but his eyes flat black. Like super complicated I know, but you should be able to handle it.

Is there a reason the weapons were left on?

To me they look like those 'shadow tendril' things you see connecting the shadow to Noob sometimes. IDK, I thought it was kinda a cool effect :shrug: and also less work for people to do. I can cut them off if you want.

Re: The Book of Shadow Wraith (vote for deck)

Okay, this is a slightly strange case here - when the Shadow Wraith moves through a figure, does he trigger an LEA? Or is he still engaged when he's "inside" of the unit? It's not strictly relevant here, since he's not going to take any wounds, but I'm curious about things that might trigger, theoretically, off of rolling an LEA. Like if there was a unit that said "hen Jack Lea rolls for a leaving engagement attack, remove one Wound Marker from this card" would it trigger here?

In general I don't think we're hurting for space so it makes sense to tag "never takes leaving engagement attacks" on there to be sure, but I'm also asking in a general gameplay sense.

Re: The Book of Shadow Wraith (vote for deck)

I don't believe it would trigger as I see it mostly the same as dancing around a figure while remaining adjacent to them.

Re: The Book of Shadow Wraith (vote for deck)

I'm pretty sure there's a ruling somewhere (either here or for classic) about if being 'inside' a figure counts as leaving engagement with that figure (or other figures) somewhere, it already matters for powers like engagement strike and such just with slightly different timing, but I can't seem to find the ruling anywhere. I can put in the no LEAs stuff here if y'all want, he probably shouldn't be stopped by Warrior Engagement and such anyway, but it is a question that needs an answer either way.

This all sounds right to me as well. Can't remember where the ruling would have come from either, so I'll ask around. I'd put the LEA language in and move forward with the understanding that moving into a figure gets you an LEA for now.

Great catch, Johnny.
