The Sue and Atom combo is a must test.
Reed and Sue were my main focus.
Maybe a Ms. Marvel build? She can ride shotgun and let her bonding partner drive her around.
We may want to call in the CRB for some suggestions beyond that.
Rocket Raccoon and Warmachine maybe. It seems like you could exploit the no engagement and movement to set up Chain Gun and what RR has.
Blob and other negative figures to drop it off n someone may not be great as someone really needs to stay in the car, ideally both.
Atom is really awesome as he can be Carried into the Car and with Tiny Stealth, there is no way to attack him. Atom and Ant Man make for some cheap tank drivers.

The Ms. Marvel idea is a good one. She can already do that with figures that have Carry, but this adds free defense and opens up your options for bonding characters a lot.

Anybody with passive shooting powers (i.e. Rocket and the Roy Harper family) makes some sense, yeah.

Martian Manhunter is probably a decent one too.

Not if it is full. So if you put two Tiny Stealth/Intangible/Invisible figures in there, you have to attack the Car.
