When he's throwing figures, the kids these days call him Yeet-un.

Re: This has been keeping me awake for almost 2 decades
I used to play with a kid who called him "John John".
Me and my brother updated that to "Yon John" and rolled with that. |
Re: This has been keeping me awake for almost 2 decades
It is Yo-Ton for sure.

Re: This has been keeping me awake for almost 2 decades
Being from Scotland I disagree.
We pronounce it Ji-meh! |
Re: This has been keeping me awake for almost 2 decades
Yo-tun for me.
|
Re: This has been keeping me awake for almost 2 decades
Yoh!-tun is how I've always pronounced it. Anyone who pronounces otherwise is a scoundrel and should be sent to boarding school to learn to be a proper gentleman.

Re: This has been keeping me awake for almost 2 decades
I am indeed a scoundrel and pronounce it Jotun, because that is how it is spelled and I speak english.

Re: This has been keeping me awake for almost 2 decades
This is all based on Norse mythology so pronouncing the J as a Y would be correct. Surely you do the same for Jandar, right? ;)
