If I read this correctly, AEtherspouts returns not just the attacking figure, but all figures in that Unique Squad.
(Same with Unsummon and Call to Heel)

Just so. In AotP, a "squad" is one army card's worth of figures, and a "squad creature" is a single figure. (In HS, a "squad figure" is one figure, and if they mean an entire army card they'll say so explicitly)

Also: This thread should probably contain the spelling "Book of Aetherspouts" as well to make it more searchable. Also, instructions on how to type an Æ (Alt-146).
