For my birthday this year, I hosted the First Ever [cue dramatic trumpets]: HEX ADDICTS HEROSCAPE TOURNAMENT!!! Saturday, DECEMBER 4th, 2010 @ High Noon Basically, a day of HeroScape, broken into 2 MAIN EVENTS: An 8-Player ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT, like this: http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...0/SAM_3867.jpg Each Player has a strict 665 Points to build their Armies, then battle it out in a series of 1-on-1 Elimination Battles. After a Champion is declared in the Elimination Tournament, there will be a massive, brutal, all-out, last-man-standing BATTLE ROYALE! There is a 400 Point limit for the Battle Royale, but up to a 5% 'Theme Bonus' will be allowed. There will be two maps set up side-by-side so that 2 battles can rage simultaneously during the Elimination Tournament; then the two maps will combine to form one massive battlefield for the Battle Royale. PS: I included this in the COMIC CUSTOMS section because the Tournament uses a large number of said customs, from the halls of C3G and NM24 to cards by individual creators such as Sherman Davies, Grey Owl, Matt Helm, Hi1hi1hi1hi1, Hahma, Felindar and myself. I have just completed construction of THE MAP!!!

During the Elimination battles, players may NOT cross over the red line into the other map. Ultimately, MARCUS claimed victory! Eventually, his luck ran out. Thanks in part to much rebirthing with the Hive, RIKI wins the match! -------------------------------------------------- Match 3: PAULO vs JASON [aka Garada] Batman, Captain America & Zombies VS Klarion and his band of Demons! http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...0/IMAG0565.jpg I had a bit of fear about going up against Batman and Cap, but the random match-ups worked in my favor since Hellboy's ranged attack gives him a nice bonus against Undead. Paulo's Zombies didn't stand a chance! Hellboy just got up on high ground and destroyed them one by one. When he finally fell, Etrigan moved in and tore into what was left of Bats and Cap. Isamu got a wound or two in before dying, earning his 10 points. My Devil Imps didn't do a damn thing but hang out on the far side of the bridge, but by that time, victory was mine! JASON wins!! -------------------------------------------------- Match 4: TOM vs ZAK Superman & The 4th Mass VS Cowboys & Indians http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...0/SAM_3845.jpg Superman spent the early part of the match hiding behind an evergreen tree in an effort to stay away from Dead Eye Dan's d-20 insta-kill shot, but when Jonah Hex's Calvary Saber carved up 6 or 7 4th Mass, he'd had enough. When all the Cowboys were out, the Indians moved in. They proved to be hard to kill, but in the end they just couldn't do anything to stop Superman, and TOM wins the match.
