Perfect example of why Sonlen is my favorite.

EDIT: worth noting the army point differential was ~300+ points in KD’s favor. Sonlen was the equalizer and might have won me the game if I’d counter drafted Jotun.

Einar Hero Battle going down.

Draft went as follows (1-2-1-1-1 format, superfrog goes first):

1. Kaemon Awa
2. Zelrig
3. Gurei-Oni
4. Master of the Hunt
.......
Last. Empress Kiova

This game really turned into a Master of the Hunt show, as he single-handedly demolished much of Chris' army. He took out Spartacus, Retiarius, Tandros, and 5/6 of Zelrig. He also gave a few trace wounds to Gurei-Oni, Parmenio, Ana, and Empress Kiova. All told he did 741 points of damage (!).

The next highest point killer was Empress Kiova on Chris' team, with 220 points killed. Much of that was because I ignored her as much as possible.

After much dancing about I was able to pin down Guilty with Valguard and secure the victory, with a few wounded heroes remaining (Kato, Valguard, MDG, Hatamoto).
