Re: Heroes of Fiction: Design Thread
Am I still considered an active part of this project? If so, I vote yes.

FYI
I assumed my increased involvement would indicate I'm able to participate. My previous hangup disappeared a couple months ago.
~Dysole, feeling that's about right for Wick pointwise |

Question
Do I need to have a figure picked out or just the character?

My Selection
Yeah maybe it's not the best idea to release another person that uses guns so soon after John Wick but this has been bumping around in my head and I think it could prove interesting.
My figure selection is the titular character from Wynonna Earp. (And I believe they actually made a mini for this show; I just have to go find it) Wynonna Earp is the great-great-great granddaughter of Wyatt Earp who was cursed. Now everyone he was responsible for killing rises as a revenant and the eldest Earp heir (Wynonna in this case) is tasked with killing them all. The previous heirs failed to do so before their deaths. She has a gun called Peacemaker (inherited from the previous heirs) which is the only weapon that can take down the revenants permanently (it is also used against other monstrosities that show up later like demons). She is also pretty handy in a fight but does not possess superhuman powers (although several others on the show do). I'm thinking the card doesn't need to be too complex. Peacemaker can be represented by her having some kind of bonus against undead/demons (I could probably even be persuaded into bonus against Utgar/Valkrill) and then something to indicate her tenaciousness or her scrappiness as she manages to pull herself through things that probably should have killed her by sheer determination. The show is great and I highly recommend, but yeah I figure this one shouldn't be too hard to hammer out since it will probably be simple powers and not a super high power level since she's just a basic human with a magic gun. I am partial to the following left side I will say but can be persuaded otherwise. Human Unique Hero Lawman Sarcastic ~Dysole, who meant to post this way earlier |
