NHSD TOURNY! Dayton Ohio Oct. 17th!!!
 

When:
The store opens at 10:00 and the tourney will start at 12:00 sign up is from 10 to 11:45. Although I may extend the time depending on the number of participants &/or other factors.

Cost:
There is no entry fee. Please bring a prize if you can (HeroScape-related preferred but not necessary), but don't let the lack of a prize repel you.

Prizes:
Players are also encouraged to bring a prize for the prize table. Participants will get to pick a single prize from the prize table according to their ranking (highest first, lowest last).

Armies:
510 no customs or Marvel-Scape! All melee! Meaning, your cards has to have a range of 1. Special range attacks are fine. Example: Nilfheim is ok to use, he has a special range attack, not a normal range attack. Same with the Wolves of Badru etc.
standard 24 hex starting zone - any figures in excess of 24 cennot be used.

Tournament Scoring:
The tournament will have five or six rounds of one-on-one games. Rounds will be most likely shortened to 40 minutes, so a lunch break will be possible and there will be less stalling(hopefully). All players will have a winning/losing score calculated by adding the points they destroyed to their points remaining, if any. Partial scoring (per wound for heroes and per figure for squads) will be used.

OVAH Bonus Points:
The OVAH allows up to 40 bonus points for OVAH Cup standings. Each match you can earn 10 bonus points by being the first to kill a hero, capped at a maximum of 40 points.

Glyphs:
Most maps will have glyphs. Some will have static glyphs. Some will have 5 random glyphs-atk., def. sum., int. plus 8 & move.

What else:
Dice will be provided as well as wound and order markers –but if you feel yours are luckier feel free to bring them, or if you want to use Valkryrie dice feel free to bring those too.I will also provide Rise of the Valkyrie figures and others if people don't have any or enough to build an army with.

Ugh! I am tentatively signed up for the Lexington tourney. I will probably come to the Dayton because it is so close to Columbus. Put cough_drops and me down for a great-big maybe.

EDIT: Oops, I saw it. 510 sounds great!

EDIT, EDIT: Since you're allowing Range 1 figs with ranged Special Attacks, what about Braxas with a ranged Special Ability?
