Remember the Hobbits hiding right next to the black riders?

And you wouldn't remember this, because it happened in my RL, but once a rabbit hid between my dog's feet.

But I believe in that case the riders came up looking for the hobbits.

The power Hide seems to me that Katniss carefully slinks away from somebody looking for her.

If she ends her move engaged it just says to me that she got away from one guy and literally bumped right into another one.

Also figures like Isamu and the Ninjas of the Northern Wind have abilities that let them get away from enemies as long as they are unengaged. That just seems to set a precedent for me.

Also that is one sneaky rabbit.

As far as the curveball questions go.

Personslity wise there are several that have played throughout my mind in this. Valiant, Loyal, Tricky can all be applied to her imho. After it is announced that a pair of tributex from the same district can win. She shows all of these traits. She seeks Peta out of loyalty (imo), she tricks him so she can go get medicine from the cornucopia and valiantly rushes to get it despite the impending danger. It's hard to say which of these she shows more of. I think tricky fits better with the hunter theme.

Her class I want to stay Hunter because at her core thats what she is. At the end of the series it is hunting that helps bring her out of her depression.

And yes it is necessary to end her move unengaged imo.

Edit: Oh and by the way mac congrats on making the front page.

Thanks for the playtest, Confred.

I agree with JC's responses. With that being said, I think we're ready to move on to the next figure. I PM'd Taeblewalker and he is ready to design the next figure. I'll let him know that we're ready.

Katniss Everdeen
Aquilla

Human
Unique Hero
Hunter
Tricky
Medium 5

Life 5
Move 6
Range 8
Attack 2
Defense 3
Cost 120

HUNTER'S PRECISION SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 5. Attack 3.
Choose a non-adjacent figure to attack. When rolling attack dice for Hunter's Precision Special Attack, each skull rolled counts as 1 additional hit. Katniss Everdeen may not use her Hunter's Precision Special Attack if she moved this turn.

FOREST COVER
If Katniss is adjacent to an Evergreen Tree or Jungle Piece, she has no visible hit zones.

HIDE 11
If an opponent's figure begins its move unengaged with Katniss Everdeenand ends its move engaged with Katniss Everdeen, you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll an 11 or higher, you may immediately move Katniss Everdeen up to 3 spaces as long as she ends her movement unengaged. That figure cannot attack Katniss Everdeen this turn. When Katniss Everdeen moves with Hide, she may move through all figures and will not take leaving engagement attacks.

Whoa

I'm probably misunderstanding this power, but isn't this basically invincibility?

No because she can be attacked by adjacent figures, affected by area of effect attacks (if she's not the target), wounded by other special powers, etc.

Right. It's like Tree-hugger Thorian Speed.

HUNTER'S PRECISION SPECIAL ATTACK
non-adjacent vs nonadjacent?
count as 1 additional skull vs count as one additional skull?
