I'll put the results of our XC meets here. I had previously been posting in a thread in the Hangout, but I thought a blog might be a better place for it.
I'd run regularly all summer and in past summers, but this was my first time on the school XC team (I'm in 8th grade).
(I actually found out later that the girls lost.)

Today my school's XC team had the first meet. It was an away meet, and their course was 1.8 miles. For boys our team went 1, 2, 3, 4, me being 4th with a time of 13:25. At the final straght I sprinted ahead of the other school's top runner. Basically, we crushed them. We also won for the girls, though it was closer. I'm looking forwrd to the next meet in a week.
