The original Heroscape master set ruins are one of my favorite parts of the entire set. They are useful for just about any game or setting, they have nice detail work and are already painted (unlike most games that offer ruined walls as part of their starter sets).

Most of us on this site have quite a few extra master sets laying around. I had an extra set of ruins and the wooden part of the ruins from a Marvel set and decided to make them a bit more useful.

Basically, I just broke them into smaller pieces to provide me with more layout options when placing ruins on a battlefield.

It has been a while since I've posted anything due to a nasty hard drive crash 3 weeks ago that tried to wipe out many of my HS custom images... but failed!

I've always wanted to have a Conan figure for HS, since there have always been custom cards floating around for this character since the early days of HS customs.

I found an old Mage Knight figure that pretty much fit the character with a few modifications.

Conan is often depicted in paintings dual wielding a battle axe along with a blade. I added that to mine.

The figure had some pieces that needed to be removed and imperfections in the casting; I tried to make the best of it by making them look like wounds. I always picture Conan as wading in the midst of battle, covered...

I made this figure for a friend in California that is a Shannara fan. If you've read Terry Brooks' The Sword of Shannara, you will recognize the red garbed rogue from that novel.

This figure was modified from a Heroclix figure. He is a combination of two different illustrations of the character:

Panamon Creel wears a lot of red, much like the HS vampires, so it was interesting to work on the shades of red and to use ink to bring out the color in a way that stood out from the HS figures. This guy is not going to...

Heroscape provides players with a massive selection of figures, but no matter how many we have, there are still some fantasy staples that have not made their way to us as official figures...yet.

Infinitymax and Atmospro made some great custom cards for minotaurs: Cerunnos and The Brothers Tor. I wanted figures to use for them and came across some suitable ones. The blue minotaur is simply a pre-painted figure from Reaper's Legendary Encounters line. I just mounted him on an HS base and he was ready to go.

The other two are Mage Knight figures that I have always liked (and which InfinityMax used on his custom card). These needed a lot of touch up, because, as with most early Mage Knight figures, the paint jobs are atrocious. They cleaned up well and look quite imposing on the battlefield.
