Hello everyone, and welcome to yet another blog about your favorite heroes: Chedwick and Sven.

It has been a while since I have done a blog on the comics so I figured it was time. The comics are going well: new ideas, new backgrounds, new adventures, new character, same old fun. All the necessary ingredients to keep people watching.

Just recently we finished up "The Finding of Steve" adventure. In case you didn't know Steve is a zombie and is the newest addition to the cast of Chedwick and Sven. I think he fits in nicely with the group. I picture Steve as an intelligent guy but with a few flaws. He gets these urges he can't control and simply starts going around killing people. He's not necessarily evil per se, he's just misunderstood (like all zombies trying to pursue a higher mind, ). Steve can get along with Sven to a degree simply because Sven likes him, but it's Steve's relationship with Chedwick I really enjoy showing.

I like...

Hello everyone! Welcome to another Chedwick and Sven blog.

The Past

In case you have been living under a rock for the past few months, or are just one of the billions of people who don't check the Fan art and Fiction section of this website on a religious basis, Chedwick and Sven's popularity has been rising. Today I checked out the "What's Popular" section of the gallery and saw that the very first Chedwick Sven comic just broke the 1,000 view marker! This is wonderful news and I believe a momentous occasion with a cause for celebration! Well, perhaps not a huge celebration but I'm happy inside at least. Thanks to all who read and enjoy my Chedwick and Sven comics, it has been my pleasure to keep trying to entertain you all and I hope to be able to continue to do so for a long time.

The Present

Recently the comics have taken a different turn in the form of a new thread entitled: "The Finding of Steve", and...

Hello everyone, it has been a while since the last blog so I guessed it was time for another. The comics are taking a hit next to the wonderful release of the new Heroscape figures. You have to take some bad with the good. I, however, will not cease making the comics.

What I wanted to talk about today was about the slight shift the comics are taking at the moment. I decided I wanted to make some longer comics and perhaps make them a little more story driven. Perhaps some day I will combine all the new and old comics in one grand and glorious story. but until then it will suffice to have the fun short, and joke driven comics seperate from the story driven comic.

I opened a new thread with such a "story" driven comic. It is entitled: "The Adventures of Chedwick and Sven: The Finding of Steve", and it chronicles....well.....th e finding of Steve. Steve will be the first new character introduced to the comics. Currently the comic is 12 panels...

Hello everyone again, it's been a while since my last blog but I promise it should be rewarding (to at least 10 of you out there). This week sees the release of Comic #15, the first of a 2-part comic showing a little mini-adventure of Chedwick and Sven. I won't spoil what lays ahead (in the next 4 panels to be shown next week), but it should be entertaining.

The more interesting portion of today's blog is the contest that I'm holding that goes along with the comics. I'm not sure if this is heroscape "legal", but it's my rep power and I should be able to give it out however I see fit. Since I'm giving out positive rep I don't think people will complain. Plus, the people that I rep will at least have to earn the rep.

So here's the contest: Hidden in the comics ("hidden" being a bad choice of words) are two jokes. The contest has to do with you "getting" the jokes. The first 10 people to PM me the correct explanations of the 2 jokes...

Hello again all, this time I will be talking more about Michael Savisky and his drawings in comic #11, as well as the comic itself.

As I have said before Mike is the photographer, editor, computer dude in the comics. He is responsible for the high "production quality" that you see with the comics. Without him my comics would look fuzzy and relatively boring.

We'll start off by looking at the comic:

Now keep in mind that you can see a better-looking version of the comic in the gallery or in the forum dedicated to the comics.

Now what I was looking for was a comic that would look a little different from the rest of them. I have a couple more ideas of how they could look different but for now I wanted to use actual drawings.

I wanted it to look like the "See Spot Run" books. I didn't want the rustic and...
