Thought I'd share the system I've developed for protecting, displaying, and using Heroscape cards.

This picture shows the first CD box containing Ullar, Marvel, and Utgar cards.

Here is the other CD box which contains the Jandar, Aquilla, Einar, Vydar, and other cards.

This next picture is a close-up of the Ullar cards. I've listed the unit's name and point cost on the spine of each CD case. The Ullar cards are all in green cases.

Here's an even closer view of some Jandar (blue) and Aquilla (clear, pink spine) card cases. You can see how the unit name and point costs are arranged on the spine.

I finally convinced the wife to let me build a gaming room in the basement. We played in there last night for the first time. I still need to add a fridge and a couple other amenities, but overall I'm very happy with it. I thought I'd share.....

This first picture is of the guy who helped me build the room and my boys. They're playing in our first battle in the new room. There are two gaming tables in the room--this being the larger of the two. Behind them would be the southeast corner of the room.

Here's the northeast corner. The cabinets were hijacked from my wife's scrapbook room. Don't feel too sorry for her; she got new storage for her new scrapbook room upstairs. We keep a lot of our boardgames, snacks, cups, etc here. You can also catch a glimpse of the small playing table in the bottom of the picture.

Here is a draft of my entry. I've included a character bio that I've worked up for him to put his powers into a Heroscape storyline context. He is named after my two sons, my inspiration for the creation of the character.

GUARDIAN OF YOUTH When Sijjonthus the Kyrie Warrior is controlled by a player under the age of 13, and he attacks or defends against a figure that is controlled by an adult opponent, add 1 die to the attack or defense roll. When Sijjonthus the Kyrie Warrior is controlled by a player under the age of 9, and he attacks or defends against a figure that is controlled by an adult opponent, add 2 dice to the attack or defense roll.

(STEALTH) FLYING When counting spaces for Sijjonthus's movement, ignore elevation. Sijjonthus may fly over water without stopping. Sijjonthus may pass over figures without becoming engaged. Sijjonthus may fly over obstacles...

Here's my quick take on what this might look like. I know the points probably aren't up to par. And...I haven't taken a look at how other synergies might affect these guys, but you get the general idea. Basically, three unique heroes that, when drafted together, can act as a squad. Each figure has its own card--eliminating the wound markers problem discussed earlier in the thread.

The units are Mage Knight figures if anyone is wondering.

KILLMECH INTERFACE
When taking a turn with KillMech X.X, you may also take a turn with all other KillMechs under your control. In doing so, treat all the KillMechs as a single squad.
