Hey all,
For any of you who still stop by the good ol' blog section of Scapers', I'm checking in for a bit. I always say I am coming back, but lets get real, if I come back it usually isn't for long. So not saying that anymore.
Life is a blast. Not gonna lie. Ups and down for sure, all the time. But overall not bad. Also, I'm a college man now, so I get this really cool thing called 'debt.' I have to say, that **** is way over hyped. Additionally -- and this is for all you young ones out there -- college is fun, but it's also a lot less fun than people make it out to be. Just a heads up.
I got an overwhelming wave of nostalgia today and thought about all the fantastic memories I had from this place.
To be fair, coming back was somewhat saddening. I see a lot of faces have moved on, people I became really good friends with just don't seem to be here anymore. Can I blame them, though? I mean what with me only rarely frequenting...

....Suppose I find out?
As some of you may be aware, I've liked a particular girl for well over a year now (two?) And it's high time I try to make a more direct move. Sure, I've gotten her nice gifts and stuff before, but say we get a little more daring?
As far as things go with her, she scares me and makes me happy all at the same time, but she can make me very depressed too. So to end my mood swings, I've decided I need to get a direct answer from her. Does she, or does she not like me?
Now, fortune *may* favor the bold, but it sure as hell won't favour the stupid. So as such, I have decided to wait until and upcoming party to ask her, this way, if things get awkward, I can simply melt away into another friend group and save myself the trouble of an uncomfortable evening.
Wish me luck, ladies and gentlemen!

Played Classic 'Scape for the first time in well over a year. A three man game on one of the maps from the RotV Master set (the one where you rescue Sgt. Drake).
Since it had been so long since we last played we decided to just go and play whatever units we wanted, not getting too far into the competitive spirit.
First game was:
Dad 500 points:
Microcorp Agents x2
Q9
PK x1
Tarn Viking
Me 200 points:
Elite Onyx Vipers
Syvvaris
My Sis 200 points:
Venoc Vipers x2
Venoc Warlord
It started off badly for me and my sis, but we came out with a pretty good win by the end.
Second game:
Me 500 points:
KoW x2
Sir Denrick
Nilf
Dad:
Marro Warriors
Mimring
My bro:
Krav
Carr
Got myself slaughtered.
Third game:

That's right folks! Time for another of my jumbely, tumbely, random blogs of very trivial matters!!
*rounds of applause sound throughout the halls*
So I noticed today it's been over a year since I've played classic 'Scape. And over half a year since I've played Super Scape.
Guess I just don't have the time for it anymore. Maybe one day I'll get back in and host a tourney or something -- if I keep telling myself that, it will happen eventually, right?
I went to see The Giver yesterday; it was good. I'm looking forward to Maze Runner and Unbroken. Lucy and The Equalizer(Equalizer looks doubly interesting because they have Guts Over Fear by Eminem in it)look pretty good, too, but given that they're rated R I probably won't get to see them.
Girls are still the most confusing thing man has yet to encounter -- I'm sitting in class wondering why I have a religion class -- heck, we should be studying the psychology of the female...

They've actually been almost superb! Very few things could have made the past few days better.
It all started Friday -- I woke up a 6:30, showered, ate, went an taught little kids to swim from 9:00-10:00. Later in the day, my friend gave me The Fault In Out Stars to read, and swim practice got cancelled due to weather, so the whole team got together and played soccer.
Saturday hit, and I went to morning practice, then went home and read TFIOS for a few hours, then I went back for another swim practice later in the day, and from there I went and played paintball with my friends and got welts all over my body (and got MVP for the day)
I don't know, it was all just little things I guess, but I enjoyed everything about it, and it made me feel really alive. It made me realize a few things:
1) (inspired by TFIOS) Life is so short and so precious; what little there is of it you shouldn't spend worrying.
2) (again, inspired...
