Description
Battle at the Border III Scenario.

Requires: RotV x2, BftU x3, RttFF x4, FotA x2, VW x4, Glyph of Brandar x2, Move Glyph x2, Elixir of Speed x2 (Note: the Elixir of Speed glyphs are represented by the Glyph or Erland on the build instructions).

Army Size: 520 (red/blue start zones)

Note: The three blue and red start zone dots (that are not on the map) signify the escape point color for purposes of escaping, they are NOT start zone spaces (look for a red/blue poker chip to signify the escape point color).

Scenario Figures:
Neutral: Obsidian Guards x2 (yellow start zone), Deepwyrm Drow x1 (purple start zone), Pelloth (purple start zone).
Note: Both the Deepwyrm Drow and Pelloth do not start the game on the board.

Goal:
Collect two keys (Brandar Glyphs) and use them to escape out your escape point (get both keys to the two spaces in front of the escape point, and step one figure off the board).
Red team escapes out the red escape point, blue team escapes out the blue escape point.

Points:
1 point for each key controlled at the end of the game.
2 points for escaping out your assigned escape point (only one figure needs to get out).
All unearned points are divided evenly.

The game ends after six (6) rounds of play OR as soon as one figure escapes.

Special Rules:
1) Obsidian Guards: After revealing an order marker on a unit you control, you may instead take a turn with one squad of Obsidian Guards.

2) Deepwyrm Drow and Pelloth: At the completion of your movement (all figures), if at any time during that movement you entered the shadow pool, roll the D20 (once). 1-10 nothing happens. 11-15 your opponent may place up to 3 Deepwyrm Drow on any of the 7 purple start zone spaces. 16+ your opponent may place up to 3 Deepwyrm Drow and Pelloth on any of the 7 purple start zone spaces.

After revealing an order marker on a unit you control, you may instead take a turn with one squad of Deepwyrm Drow or Pelloth.

If/when an Obsidian Guard or Pelloth is destroyed they are removed from the game. The Deepwrmy Drow however, may be recycled back into the game after being destroyed.

3) You may pick-up, pass, or drop a key and continue your movement if possible. To pick up a key you need only be adjacent to it (but no more than three levels from your base higher or lower than it). To pass a key you need to be adjacent to another figure you control (only the key holder can pass the key). To drop a key, leave it in a space you previously occupied while moving.

4) Any figure you control and is a part of your 520 points, may carry a key (one key only).

Clarifications:
1) Obsidian Guards, Deepwyrm Drow and Pelloth may not pick-up keys, but they can stand on the key for blocking purposes.

2) When taking a turn with the Obsidian Guards, Deepwyrm Drow, or Pelloth they are considered a part of your army and are subject to all rules as if they were in your army.

3) If you are already in the shadow pool and move into an adjacent shadow space, that is NOT considered entering the shadow pool for purposes of summoning the Drow/Pelloth.

4) The Drow/Pelloth do not roll to summon more Drow/Pelloth if they enter the shadow pool.

5) Notice the 'negative space' between the molten lava and shadow tiles. Per official HeroScape rules, this space cannot be crossed. You can shoot through the space but you must count around it when determining range.

6) You only need two keys to escape but you can control more than two in order to get more points.
