Northam Keep has seen better days. Once a guard outpost for the Kyrie hamlet of Northam, it was an early battleground during the Rise of the Valkyrie. A seige of the keep by Utgar's forces was driven away, but many Kyrie were lost on both sides and the keep was damaged beyond the ability of the survivors to repair. Over the years wild animals and wandering bandits have made use of the keep, and a stream flows through the tunnels Utgar's sappers dug to breach the walls. The Kyrie of Northam have finally decided to restore the keep, but as they begin repairs they hear word of an approaching enemy force. They abandon their work and call for assistance. The keep will once again be the site of bloodshed...
