Travel through the the Valcarren Wastelands is slow. The heat is barely barable, even at night. Suddenly there's a low thump, it's barely autible. Again you hear it. Again. As it continues, it grows in volume, and you can feel it in your bones. Slowly the thumping grows into a loud rumble. The earth itself begins to shake violently as rocks are pushed up out of the ground. Lava begins to pour out, and a dark crevice opens up in the middle of the landscape. In an instant it stops, and a uneasy silence sets over you. On the other end of the crevice an unpleasent sight greets you.
