Creative title, eh?
Random thoughts for the day-
1) Spider-Man (and Venom) from the Marvelscape set... I really like Swing Line. Holy cow, what an awesome ability.
2) Mimring kind of sucks.
3) Checked the UPS tracker- the stuff I ordered from E-Hobby Tools should be arriving tomorrow. Some graveyard stuff, a bridge.. and some other goodies. I'm excited to get it and do some repaints.
4) Still haven't received the Heroscape figures I purchased from someone. I truly believe they sent them.. they just should have arrived by now. 7+ days for priority is a bit long. We'll see
5) Got a new water heater installed today. The old one was still working, but it was like 18 years old? Time for a new one; the guy offerred to take cash and not charge us sales tax.. would have saved like $70.. but he said he couldn't write us an invoice if he did that. I don't think he had any bad intentions- but we paid the tax and took our invoice.
6) I'm tired of being tired. I hate my job and the hours that come with it. I have an application or two in, hopefully those go well. I can't do this anymore.
7) I love my wife.
Oh, and hey- I've been getting really into painting miniatures of late. Namely the Games Workshop LOTR figures. Got 24x Dwarf Rangers, 24x Elf Warriors, x16 Orcs, and 6x Haradim Riders. Started with the Dwarves, and it's going pretty well. I really enjoy the painting, and I'm doing decently at it.
I have also done a couple of repaints. One of Major Q10, and one of a nameless Orc figure I have (I think he was D&D).

1) Spidey and Venom are indeed awesome, especially because they fit so well into classic 'Scape... gearing up for the next Bahde-run tourney (rumored to be Marvel-inclusive), perhaps?
 2) Yep, Mimring sucks. He did a great job of looking cool enough to get me to buy RotV, though. 3) Very cool to hear about your new repainting efforts; your Major Starq looks great... that repaint would fit well in a 500 point mixed army with Iron Man, Q10, and the Airborne Elite. 4) That sucks. 5) Gotta love the water heater guy trying to get paid under the table. 6) I sympathize about work. Having the same experience. 7) I love my wife, too! At least yours plays 'scape with you, though... I told mine the joke of the day and she laughed pretty hard. |
