With the rise of Valkrill, the Alliance struggles to adapt to a new, more unpredictable and vicious enemy. One who kills without hesitation and for pleasure as much as conquest. The stinking rot of desecrated bodies marks Valkrill's advance through Valhalla.

Fortunately, Valkrill's forces have begun to vie with Utgar's hordes, claiming superiority and at times wreaking havoc, even among allies, with nearly gleeful rage and little provocation. The rise of Valkrill has destabilized the wars and the idea of peace returning in Valhalla seems ever more remote.
