Greetings from the Codex.

Ever since our restart in January, the Codex has been staggering along. We’ve more or less gotten everything out on time, but the number of close calls is getting somewhat worrisome. We had to miss February entirely, as you might be aware.

This is due to a variety of factors, but one of the largest ones is not having enough backup writers in place to take over if the main writer can’t deliver on time. This is why we would like to ask anyone who sees this, to please consider joining us at the Codex. Additionally, if you have friends here at HSers who you think might be interested, please consider contacting them and letting them know we could use them.

While, in general, the more the better, there are a few requirements that need to be met for new members, in order to ensure we continue turning out top-quality work:

March Madness is coming to C3G, with superheroes and supervillains battling it out to see who will be the next C3G design!



Starting today, vote for your favorite character to join the ranks of C3G designs! Twice a week, two fan-favorite, long-requested characters will face off in a public poll, and in the end, one will stand supreme! The winner will be designed, in public, for immediate release after the end of the tournament!

C3V is hosting an Online Playtesting Tournament.

New Releases of C3V waves are just around the corner, in order to get our final touches done on these figure we are holding a special event. 14 different designs will be available for you to build armies around and play in this upcoming event. Sign-ups run until March 13th. For more details, you will need to join the C3V playtesters group.

Anyone can join. To join the C3V Playtesting Event

1. Click on "User CP" in the banner on the top of the screen.
2. Click on "Group Memberships" in the control panel on the left.
3. Find the "C3V Online Playtesters" group in the list and click on the "Join Group" button to the right.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the group list and click the "Join Group" button.

Shortly thereafter you will be granted access to the C3V Playtesters forum. Inside the Playtesters forum is a link to the C3V Online Playtesting Tournament.

This is a 2015 End of Year Championship qualifying event. This is also the last qualifying event before the 2015 End of Year Championship.

This is also your last chance to win a Ticalla Jungle! A Ticalla Jungle will be the 2015 End of Year prize; it will be raffled off to a player at the end of Season 22.

Format: Reverse Draft

• Each player submits one army of between 400 and 600 points, and between 7 and 20 figures. Army submissions may have more than 20 figures, but no more than 20 can be placed at the start of the game.
• There is a dice-off at the beginning of the game. The winner of the dice-off chooses whether to make the first army selection, or defer the opening choice to their opponent.

This is a 2015 End of Year Championship qualifying event. However, games played in this event will not count toward your 2015 or overall ranking. The winner of this event will still be invited to EoY and this will count as a tournament played for EoY purposes.



2015 GenCon Main Event Prep

• Each player brings one 460-point army with no more than 16 figures*. No VC, no Marvel.
• During the regular season you will play the army you bring. However, the playoffs will be Reverse The Whip -- you play with the army your opponent brought for each round in the playoffs.

*An army can contain more than 16 figures, but only 16 figures may be placed on the battlefield each game. Airborne Elite and Rechets of Bogdan count toward these limits, as usual. Double-spaced figures...
