Death is a Beach

It was a humiliating defeat. Crushing. Should I have known better? Probably. Should I have retreated sooner? Definitely. Is it possible to keep your head in the heat of battle?

In my defence I had bad intel. Yes, I knew it was the Undeadís main outpost. But they had been beaten back, and it seemed that they werenít that strong. Plus I had a feeling- and sometimes you have to go with your intuition. I guess now I have a feeling that I shouldnít go with my intuition....

The big game has gotten quite tense. Most of the battles are very important- a loss could mean the end of a faction, the collapse of an alliance, the beginning of a slide towards total defeat.

Einar had taken early losses to the Undead/Japanese alliance. But York, representing the Central alliance, had come to Einarís add. The Japanese/Undead were beaten back and Einar and York decided it was time to go on the offensive.
