Image of the Week.
The Grut army scattered as the great metal beasts bore down upon them. What were these things that no arrows could pierce and no blade could harm? This is the 8th Armored Division, summoned by Jandar to assist Sargent Drake and the Airborne Elite in the war against the evil armies of Utgar and Valkrill.
As of this writing there is no thread for the image, but a larger gallery image can be seen here. Seriously people, make threads!
Map of the Week.
For our next Map of the Week we'll going to go back in time to the first ever BoV map. This takes us back all the way to January 2nd 2007. It is Mole hills by Jonathon, modded by R˙chean! Mole Hills takes 1 Rise of the Valkyrie and 1 Road to the Forgotten Forest.

Even today, months after Heroscape was discontinued, rules debates and strategy discussions are as rampant as ever. State your opinion in "what exactly is balanced?".

The Tank Mechs are from Dust Tactics, a fun game, but really the mechanics of it are.......pure HeroScape. Go figure. Making up nice cards for the Mechs, I'll post them up for critique when I'm done. I should probably make up ones for the squads in Dust too, they would blend in well with a 'Scape game. |

Haven't tried rebasing it yet, no time. If i can get some spare time over the weekend, I'll take a crack at it and post some photos. They're fairly brittle so I'm not sure how it's going to go.
Special attack is the infrared lamp at the top, negating jungle and forest cover. You must roll a 14 or higher to shoot through jungle at a target. Walls require two consecutive rolls of 14 or higher, one to scan, one to punch through to the target. Move is 3, Range is 12, Attack is 8, Defense is 5, life is 4, cost is 450. When firing she can hit up to 20 hex high. When moved twice in a turn she overheats and cannot move more than once in the next round. |
