Image of the Week.
Heroscaper Scytale has really been cranking out the customs with some highly creative new factions. This image features Moog'Lukt from his Slaad faction. Check out the rest of the Slaad, and his other factions in his thread.
Map of the Week.

For this week's Map of the Week we are featuring another oldie, Ch1can0's Earth. This map was originally created for the World's of Heroscape project. Be sure to visit the other world's of Heroscape at Ch1can0's thread. Maybe this will inspire some of you cartographers out there to create your own worlds. Heroscape Eberron anybody?
Important Announcement!
The Soldier's of Valhalla project is looking for a new judge. Check out this thread for details, then PM Killometer if you're interested. Serious applicants only please.

I love the idea behind Earth! There should be special movement rules when moving from continent to continent, or maybe some extra troops based on what continents you control. Like controling Asia gives you two free squads of Shaolin Monks, controlling North America gives you two squads of 4th Mass, etc. Great stuff!

When I found this web site and discovered that I could down loaded a bunch of maps, this "EARTH" was the first one that my grandson (age 10 at the time) built and it filled up my dining room table.
I love the idea of playing RISK on this map (or any HS creation) since you'll have all those hexes as additional "territories" instead of the standard 42 on *EVERY* Risk Map (the original, StarWars, Lord of the Rings, Transformers, Halo, etc.) that makes it SOOOooooo redundant and predictable. |
