WEEK #2
We have three more great cards for you this week, which brings us to the halfway mark for Wave 14.
OMEGACRON
The Omnicrons have been dismissed as a weak faction for some time now, and when designing Omegacron, changing that is what we had in mind.
The trickiest aspect of playing the Omnicrons is engaging the Repulsers, and then getting attacks in with your Snipers before the Repulsers get destroyed, so Omnicron Mobilization was where we started.
But that power alone proved insufficient for this fragile faction, so to allow you to take the best parts of two units and put them into one turn, we designed Directed Fire to complement Omnicron Mobilization.
And, lastly, we knew that such an awesome figure with multiple guns had to have a fearsome punch.

HADUC
Haduc was the first unit we designed, because it was obvious that the Ninth Elf Wizard was a must for the return to classic 'Scape.
Haduc complements the other Elf Wizards and protects them with the Aegis of the Crimson Sigil power, a round-changing twist on the common Tough power.
Binding the elven wizards together and drawing in the other elves, Elven Supremacy completes the card for the last of the Order of the Nine.

MARRO GNIDS
Due to the long time lapse since we last saw non-fantasy units, we knew it was time for a throwback to one of the most classic factions in HeroScape, the Marro.
The Marro Gnids bring a new mechanic to the game via Cling. By clinging to their opponent's heroes like parasites, they slow them down and weaken their resolve.
And with their speed and Scale 1 power, they'll be on top of you before your army can achieve position.

Next week, we'll have even more excellent new units to share . . . stay tuned!

Does the Gnids count as being destroyed when using Cling?
If so, can they be brought back by the Hive if the hero is destroyed? |

The Gnids that are removed from the board to Cling are not considered destroyed, so they cannot be re-birthed by the hive. So when their host dies, so do they.

It would be great if you could suggest websites where these minis can be found.
More than anything, seeing these units is just making me wish that I had the hard-to-find figures that they were created to buff up! Omegacron is cool, but not much use without repulsors! |

These look amazing. It's a shame I only have Haduc from this week's preview. I really need to fill in the gaps that I'm missing from this wave so I can play all of them. Great job C3V! Bring on the rest, I really don't know if I can wait.
