Wave D3 Week 3, Second Preview: Siege
Siege began like most Warforged with Warforged Resolve, and some other versions of typical Warforged or Juggernaut powers. However we eventually we felt like he needed more mmph. Colby designed a really exciting new mechanic for Evar Scarcarver, and he found a great way to mimic that mechanic in a different way with Siege.
Siege is great at holding an area, or as your last man standing on the battlefield. With his Crag of Steel, he's able to stand his ground and withstand a volley of attacks, but don't get too close. While he may look stoic in that stance, he's able to lash out at all those around him.
He's not a linchpin to build an Army around, but he is a great addition to any Army. Especially those with classic glyphs or an area you need to control on the board.
As an added bonus (and because the preview is actually preview Thursday instead of preview Wednesday this week), we're revealing two of the Glyphs that are included in this wave!
In this wave, we'll have 2 Permanent and 2 Temporary glyphs. These are both of the Permanent Glyphs.
Giant Hunter Stone (+1 VS large or huge)
This figure rolls an additional die when attacking or defending against large or huge figures.
Oceanstrider Amulet (Waterwalking)
This figure does not have to stop its movement when entering water spaces.
See you guys next week for the Horned Skull Brutes, the Ogre Pulverizer as well as the 2 Temporary glyphs!

wow
Cool ability! You can put the 1 and 2 OMs on him, get to your target, get a big attack of 5, and then on OM 2, wait it out without fear that he will die (probably). Plus whirlwind assault! could be useful. very juggernaut-y |

Nice, seems like something a custom figure would do with the X marker, but it just proves the game designers like to have fun too! I like the glyphs as well. Time to sleep now.

I believe this is the first official figure to go with an X-Marker revealing power. I'm sure Matt Helm will love it!

Guru said that they came up with this idea from Evar so does that mean he will be ussing an X order maker ability as well???? The glyphs are sweet as well. For some reason I had a feeling we would be getting a water walking glyh With the new sculpts and the red dragon I am getting 4 hero packs. Its gonna be hot stuff.

I really like this figure and its ability. So far out of the last 3 waves, he may be my favorite so far. Not too complicated and very functional--easy to plug into any army.
