As stated above, this is NOT my custom unit. This beauty was put together by IAmBatman, garnered with a TNT label, so you know the unit is up to par! However, I finally got this fig and wanted to put together a custom unit worthy of the Target exclusive. I think IAB's incarnation does quite well.

Note that with all the wording for the special powers, the font size had to be set at 6.5pt! So it's really, really, REALLY small. Think Jotun special powers small!

:: DEADPOOL ::

A custom unit I put together after looking around at some of the other existing Deadpool units posted here on Heroscape. The special powers do mirror other Deadpool customs, but I tried to pack as much theme into this one as I could. Also cleaned up some of the wording in a couple of the powers to fit better into what I was trying to achieve with each.

Also added the Deadpool logo near the bottom of the card to just give the background a little more flair. You know, Deadpool style.

I've been trying to put together a unit card based on the Marvel comic army cards, and I finally finished one I was happy with.

Obviously, there are a few visual differences from the official cards. Most notably the lights replacing the power cables. I did this to help better signify that the set-up is my own card design seeing as how I couldn't fit my tag anywhere on the card without it looking overly ugly. I may switch the lights up with something different based on the characters I put together (wires, pipes, etc.). But for now, this is good.

Also, I created my own super strength and flight icons. Not a knock against those here on this site. I just wanted to use EPS versions for the best print quality. And, okay, I kind of like my flight icon a little more.

A while back, I came upon a WotC podcast featuring the folks from webcomics 'Penny Arcade' and 'Player vs. Player'.

The series of podcasts places these guys in a room with a WotC DM to play some 4th Edition D&D. What ensues during the recorded sessions is pretty much pure, uncensored hilariousness.

I kid you not, I've listened to the first session three times (they're perfect when travelling long distances), and I just found out that they have another series in which Wil Wheaton joins the adventurers of Acquisitions, Inc. (you'll have to listen to the cast to get that joke).

So if you get a chance, download a couple and see what you think. You can also stream the podcast if you want to listen to it at your desk at work. Really, your productivity will triple maybe not but listen anyway!
