I'll post one of these whenever something funny occurs to me.
Anyway, in this case, my dad and I were playing Monopoly. I have hotels on all of the pink and orange spaces, and he has nothing left but money. He gets in jail from the "Go To Jail" space. Next few turns, nothing happens. Then, it's his third roll. He has to pay $50 to get out if he doesn't have doubles. He roles a 4 and a 5. And then he realizes that he doesn't even have $50, so he loses.
Because he couldn't pay to get out of jail.

Odd...we play that you can get out on $50 BEFORE the third turn...if you don't, then on the 3rd turn, you automatically get out. To each his own, I suppose.

We have customized the entire monopoly game.
We play that you can break out of jail if you shake the 20d correctly. Also, you can buy the jail and then raise and revoke the bail at your whim. |

Technically, aren't you supposed to pay before you make your third roll in jail? It's been a while since the last time I played Monopoly so I may be wrong.
