New HoSS Release!

Public HoSS designs for Han Solo, on Tauntaun & Admiral Ozzel have now been completed and are ready to add to your collection. Admiral Ozzel prefers to overwhelm his enemies with a Surprise Attack while Hoth Han scouts out the enemy with a blaster pistol in hand, then rescues those allies who find themselves in a bit of trouble.

The recently formed BoSS group has also been busy at work, with a new competitive map based on the Hoth Generator Ruins. A perfect map to try out the new Hoth Han figure on! They also have completed the Swamps of Dagobah competitive map. Beware the swamp creatures that lurk just below the surface and don't get turned around in the fog. If you have not done so before, please stop by the BoSS section and give them your thoughts on the maps they are working on.

And as always, play testing is an essential aspect of the project. If you like what we have been doing here, please contribute with a play test or two. Ben Kenobi's Den is a quick little scenario Koolster has been working on for the BoSS group that could really use one new set of eyes to bring it home.

HoloNet News Reports: Reshuffling at the Jedi Temple

HoSS is pleased to announce the promotion of three new Jedi Knights. TREX, Koolster25 and Tai-Pan have all had an impact on many of the completed HoSS cards, through constructive feedback during the play testing process. Now they will be joining in on the design discussions from beginning to end as part of the HoSS Inner Sanctum.

Along with those promotions, HoSS has elected to update and revise its membership structure. Going forward the following membership levels are now in effect:

Jedi Knight - We may choose to invite anyone with a lifetime HoSSRP of 15 points or more (some exceptions may be made) to become a Jedi Knight. Jedi Knights have access to the HoSS Inner Sanctum and can participate in all discussions but lack voting privileges. Jedi Knights still earn play test points for each play test. Instead of spending those points on a public design, Jedi Knights will spend their points to draft and design figures in the HoSS Inner Sanctum. These designs will be released as part of an official HoSS release.

Jedi Council Member - When a Jedi Council Member retires, we may choose to replace him with a Jedi Knight. Jedi Council Members are full voting members of the project and no longer track or spend HoSSRP points.

One with the Living Force - A Jedi Council Member or Jedi Knight that has retired becomes One with the Living Force. Through the Force they will still have access to the HoSS Inner Sanctum and may weigh in on debates if they so choose but do not have voting privileges. Members who have become One with the Living Force may LD a new design with permission from the current Jedi Council.
