The Rat Plague of Dunwall

Dishonored 1 was a fun game, I bought it on release for the PS3 back in the day. Only did 1 playthough of it, and it was a fun ride. I had turned it back on from time to time for giggles. But, being a young spudding adult with work, a social life, and good ol’ heroscape I never had the time to give it another run.
Fast forward to last Saturday...? I saw Dishonored 2 was in stock at Walmart was in stock for $20. I’ve played the first couple levels so far, and I’m looking forward to playing it some more. The rats aren’t the main issue this time around. I’m playing this run as Emily, since it seemed like this was her story. I might fiddle around as Corvo in a later run. They have different power sets, so that’s definately some incentive to run through it a second time.
Since wednesday though, I caught the plague. Or it seems that way. High fever, swollen throat, mucus. It’s been a miserable four days. I haven’t been to work since Wednesday either. Man, my paycheck is gonna hurt. Today, now that the fever was actually under control (below 110 degrees F), I was able to go to one of those Urgent Care places without them panicking and trying to send me to the ER or some such. I have Strepp Throat. “Please, put me down now Doc,” I asked in my head. Can barely talk. Haven’t been able to breathe right either, and consequentially sleep. They prescribed a couple pills. The antibiotic to brutally murder the strepp and something with a long name to help with the inflammation (I had informed the good doctor that I having issues breathing right since it was so swollen). Thankfully, I’ll start to feel better soon. The sooner the better too, I have to get back to working.
Well, let’s get better and then get back to being an assassin.

Thanks Tornado! Yeah, I wasn’t doing so hot, but from what I’ve read the Strepp can make a fever worse as well. But, after a day on both pills, the swelling went down considerably. I had a great night’s sleep last night to boot! Being able to breathe calmly helped heaps.
