Desert Terrain Pack
We recently learned that Wizards of the Coast plans on creating terrain packs to be made available for sale at hobby stores, also known as Friendly Local Game Stores.
Paul Barclay from Wizards informs us that the hobby stores are unable to stock Master Sets, they simply can't make a profit from them. This leaves a dilemma when trying to bring HeroScape into the hobby market, as you can't play the game without the terrain provided in Master Sets. Wizards' solution is to create terrain sets that are heavy on hexes and include a couple of line of sight blockers.
One such set is a Desert Terrain Set that will make use of repainted Glaciers from the Thaelenk Tundra Set. Paul sent me a conceptual picture of this Desert Terrain Set. Note that this is not necessarily how the final product will look.

I hope this happens, I'd love to have as wide a variety of "official" terrain/accessories as possible. Customs are great, but I'm materialistic! Gimme gimme!

ive made a lot of maps with a desert/ sand dune themes to them, and this would be frickin AWESOME with those type of maps!

Needs better sand rocks. I could make my own repaints.

I hope if it does come out I'll be able to get it right now I'm having trouble just finding a set that just came out and I've checked all the top stores and the only reply I got was that we don't have it and it might come in on insert day here ----------. What gets to me is they did'nt even check in the back.

AWESOME I've been waiting forever to see if they would make a desert terrain pack I got many ideas for a desert but I think there should be cactus and quicksand terrain too.
