Thread of the Week

As time goes on and more characters are added, Scapers form new tactics that pair those units that are both old and new. There are still bound to be combinations unseen by our eyes that will impact the use of units. Scaper Eckels has made a thread talking about the best ways to utilize the Elf army, which has grown with Wave 8. See his post here.

Event of the Week

The Eastern Pennsylvanians are having a showdown in New Jersey on Saturday, with 30+ attendees. it appears that Scapers are sharing the love, with multiple attendees bringing friends. Check it out in the Events section here.

With Gencon coming soon, 'Scapers has been in a flurry of activity. In this activity, it was revealed that 'Scaper Onacara will be making the trophies for the event. He has a total of 10 trophies on display in his blog, which can be found here. They are simply beautiful. Most utilize extra terrain spray painted silver or gold, along with figures. Others, like the jumpstart and capture Raelin trophies, utilize non-heroscape parts. Onacara has really outdone himself with these, as they are all beautiful. "Support your local Onacara!"~Grungebob

This one has been around for awhile but I figured I'd shine some light on it. Command Cards provide an alternative to the standard Order Markers used in HeroScape. There are 64 Command Cards of various types. These Cards are used to issue orders to the Armies on the battlefield. Rules and original concept by jbbnbsmith. What a cool customization idea from Annerios! He's taken a Marro hive and cut down some of its pincher extensions and then turned those into additional freaky Marro obstacles, giving the sense of this giant underground entity bursting forth from the swamp in many different places.
