HeroScape Color Theory (aka. The 6th General Premise)
For the last two years there had been speculation about a "6th General". The fact that this game is based on six sided polygons just naturally made us wonder why the game designers stopped at five generals. Well HeroScaper teekay took this line of thought to the next level. In this thread teekay uses the color wheel to illustrate his point and in the end his arguments are very compelling. So compelling in fact three weeks later Aquilla was revealed. I can't wait to see how correct this summation is when we find out more about Aquilla. Read it over and be amazed.

Marvel Custom Destructible Object Cards
Annerios has consistently amazed our community with his custom creations and once again he has started a thread to offer a new wrinkle to MarvelScape. This thread has a template for custom destructible objects cards. There are already several cool creations posted here and I expect...

Gencon News EXCLUSIVE INFO!
There's been a lot of big news over the past week and a half and this week's 5ive will reflect that. But perhaps no news was bigger than the announcement about Hasbro's support for Gen Con this year. Heck, everyone participating in the Gen Con events will even get a free exclusive figure. Check out Grungebob's thread about this here...

Heroscape at Comic Con & Gen Con
This week I wanted to start off with a thread about a news item on the official HeroScape website. On Friday Hasbro announced officially that they will be attending Comic Con in San Diego this July and Gen Con in Indianapolis this August. Now we can all begin speculating what this means in terms of release dates and the like. Post your thoughts and see what other folks are guessing.

The Importance of HeroScape
Leave it to Revdyer to come up with a thread about how HeroScape is art and science. It's a pretty nice read and is a lot of fun when you start to think about it. Check it out and add your own cogitations, postulations, and permutations.

FT's Customs: New Mariedian Deathwatch, and Knight
HeroScaper Fallen Templar was producing custom units long before this site began. In fact he posted a thread in the first days collecting his work to that point. And in thirteen months since...

Homba's Scenarios (May 27 - Mountain Hall)
HeroScaper Homba has a long running thread of maps and scenarios that are really worth checking out. His map making skills are solid and his attention to detail is second to none. Pictures of his newest endeavor "Hall of the Mountain King" have recently been added. Having played a few of these scenarios myself I highly recommend downloading some for your next game night.

Bixby's Hextreme HeroScape Spreadsheet
Canadian HeroScaper Bixby has updated his Hextreme HeroScape Spreadsheet (this is version 3). It's a really handy Excel spreadsheet that now has links to all of the Books of HeroScape (a project featured in the 5ive three weeks ago) so it's loaded with even more useful information....

Cupid's Customs - Urtengar and Grauknau
This week I wanted to start the 5ive with customs creator Cupid's Art. I got several PMs suggesting this thread and if you browse through it you'll quickly see why. The evolution of his Primo character on Page 9 is particularly worth a look. Prepare to have your mind blown:

H_E_H's Maps: The Gardens (page 9)
Site Admin Hex_Enduction_Hour started a thread for his maps during the first week of this site's existence and he's still adding to it a year later. The last couple of maps are my favorites. On Page 9 you'll find "The Corridor" and "The Garden". Both are very cool and the second one has a lot of custom elements added in for good measure. Check it out:
